LTC Wraps Up 2024 Race Season with Volunteer Bash, Annual Awards; Welcomes in 2025
Lincoln Track Club hosted its volunteer bash and annual meeting in January, presenting awards and offering appreciation to its members, volunteers, racers and board. Over 50 people attended.
The event included a group run, a free pizza dinner, and door prizes for some lucky attendees. Folks were encouraged to renew their LTC memberships for 2025. A brief business meeting was held to welcome a new board member, Kelcey Buck, who will serve as Secretary for LTC.
LTC also recognized three awardees for their outstanding contributions to the Lincoln running scene in 2024. President Ryan Regnier, with the help of other LTC board members, presented the awards.

Clay Simpson of Lincoln received Lincoln Track Club’s Distinguished Achievement Award for his outstanding 2024 race season.
In presenting the award, President Regnier recounted Simpson’s excellent 2024 race season, noting consistent leader board finishes in Lincoln Track Club races, runner up in the Good Life Halfsy, and a 2:21:06 finish in the California International Marathon, a PR for him.
Simpson also is an LTC board member.
