GSK Run Recap

The LTC brought back the Night Run in August with the 35th Annual GSK Orange Run, sponsored by GlaxoSmithKline. The Fallbrook YMCA in northwest Lincoln served as the starting line and finish line. The 1-mile race—the kids’ grand prix—started at 7:00 p.m., and the winners were Kylie Muma, 12, with an amazing time of 5:53, and Easton Zastrow, 10, with an equally amazing time of 6:00.The 5K started at 7:20 p.m. The course wove through the Fallbrook neighborhood streets and finished at the Y. The top three female finishers, all from Lincoln, were Erica Doering, 27, with a time of 18:29; Bridget Easley, 36, in 18:33; and Michelle Paxton, 40, in 18:41. The top three male finishers—all 27 and all from Omaha—included Colin Morrissey with a time of 15:47; Michael Rathje, 16:14; and Cole Marolf, 16:19.Runners and their families enjoyed a post-race party with great music, fantastic food, and a photo booth fun. The Lincoln Track Club and GSK look forward to bringing you an even better event in 2018.
