The  was the best yet! More than three thousand runners were on hand to run around the State Capital. This year's shirt with the theme “Happy 30th Birthday Mayor's Run” was designed by Evyn Shafer, a sixth grader from Lincoln Christian School. Prescott Elementary, Beattie Elementary, and Lincoln Christian were the top schools in the participation contest. Great Job!In addition to running, the Mayor's Run raised $3,665 for this year's charity: Woods Tennis Center—Taking the Game to the Community. Since 2002 the Mayor's Run has donated $53,000 to local charities!
